Ceremony Pianist
My music sets the tone for your special day, creating a soothing and unforgettable atmosphere. With over 200+ songs to choose from my multi genre list and the option to request your own tastes in music for the ceremony. I can learn songs on request if given in advance to make your day special to you. I can also make more personalised requests such as a mashup of two or more songs, I can send on a video of my version to allow them hear their idea come to life and make any changes if necessary so it’s perfect for their special day. I will always be available to help choose songs if needed and will offer my best advice when choosing. Using my skills I have learned from playing at many weddings I can alter a piece to be longer, shorter during the ceremony where it is needed.
Drink Receptions
Take the hassle away of making a playlist that doesn’t feel as personal or as flexible as live piano music. For your day I can play through my repertoire that is over four hours long which caters for young and old audiences. I always tailor the setlist to match the vibes from the guests at your ceremony whether it will be more upbeat setlist or romantic and slower in style. I will also ask what genre the couple themselves want me to mainly play, as my list covers a lot from Irish traditional styles to all decades of popular music with a bit of jazz and classical thrown in too!
Event Pianist
Ceremonies and drinks receptions are the most popular options but I also play during the meal at weddings which adds a perfect background sound while everyone is enjoying their meal, I also play during meals and during the breakfast of a day two wedding! Not only do I play at weddings but I cater for all events creating a sense of elegance as guests arrive, I played at the Monaghan Town business awards in 2023, Christmas markets, Christenings, charity fundraisers and have been a resident pianist at Castle Leslie since 2019 and resident pianist in Rouge Galway restaurant since 2023. I can help to make the perfect atmosphere for any event!
Travel Availability
Based in Monaghan and Galway, I have a full clean drivers license. I am available to travel nationwide with my own transport, bringing myself and all equipment (i.e. piano, amp, music, extension leads, chords etc.) which makes everything on the day run smoothly. I always arrive to the venue early to set up so I am ready to play as guests are arriving.
Piano Options
I am happy to play a piano if your venue has one in tune and in the location you want me to play, but in the case there is no piano on site or the piano is in a different location I have my own white electric piano, the Roland Fp-90X, is a high quality keyboard means it’s a great sounding electric piano which delivers a high quality service for clients. I chose the colour of white for the electric piano as it is more unique and bridal looking. However if the white piano is not your style I do have a black keyboard of perfect quality too, both keyboards offer a beautiful sound and replicate the sound of an acoustic piano. I have amps available if a more controlled volume on the music is needed. That is definitely available!
